OfTale is a free one-page studio that helps you turn written stories into short-video material: a structured script with narration beats, a voiceover preview, and downloadable subtitles.
Everything runs in your browser. There is no account, no signup, and no server processing your text.
How it works
Paste a story (or load a sample) — it is split into narration beats with timing estimates.
Preview the voiceover with your browser's built-in text-to-speech, in several voices and speeds.
Download the script (.txt) and subtitles (.srt) for your editor.
Honest limits
Reddit blocks automated fetching, so post bodies can't be pulled from links — paste the text yourself.
Voiceover preview uses your browser's free text-to-speech, not a studio AI voice.
OfTale does not render MP4 video (yet). Subtitles import directly into CapCut / Premiere.
Sample stories on the homepage are fictional demos written for the tool, not real Reddit posts.
