An r/AmItheAsshole narration usually states the conflict in the first line, then the setup, the moment everyone reacts, and a question that asks the viewer to pick a side. OfTale does not write that verdict and does not post to Reddit. Paste the story and it builds timed narration beats, lets you preview the voiceover in the browser, and downloads the script and subtitles. Free, no signup, and no finished video.
If the story is not a judgment post, start from the Reddit story to video script workflow. Horror threads are on the nosleep horror voiceover script page.
Clicking a sample, or building a script from pasted text, gives you beats you can read in order. Script (.txt) lists each beat with a start and end taken from 150 words per minute. Subtitles (.srt) uses those same spans as caption cues. The phone preview highlights one word in each beat while it cycles; that highlight is only on screen. It is not a line in the .srt file.
This is the studio's built-in wedding sample, original demo text titled "AITA for kicking my mother-in-law out of my wedding after she wore pure white?". It is not a real post. Loading it in the studio sets these five beats, and the files below are the Script (.txt) and sentence-mode Subtitles (.srt) downloads from those beats.
=== OFTALE SCRIPT EXPORT === Title: AITA for kicking my mother-in-law out of my wedding after she wore pure white? Source: r/AmItheAsshole Beats: 5 | Est. voiceover: ~29s @150wpm Voice preview uses your browser's built-in TTS (audio not included in export). --- BEATS --- [00:00 - 00:05] AITA for kicking my mother-in-law out of my wedding after she wore white? [00:05 - 00:11] I (26F) married my husband (28M) last Saturday. It was supposed to be our dream day. [00:11 - 00:17] Then my MIL walked in wearing a full floor-length lace gown with a cathedral veil. [00:17 - 00:22] My bridesmaids went silent. My husband froze. She smiled right at me. [00:22 - 00:28] I told security: 'Escort her out immediately, or the wedding is off.' Am I the asshole?

That .srt file is the default Subtitles download: one cue per beat. The menu can also split cues into 1 word, 2–3 words, or on punctuation, and Subtitles (.vtt) writes the same sentence cues as WebVTT for YouTube and web players. The voice you can play in the studio is browser speech for checking pace. It is not saved as an audio file.
Treat a real AITA post as someone else's writing. Ask the author before you narrate it, credit them if they agree, and leave it alone if they say no. This sample was written for the studio.

Open the studioNo. It does not judge the story, score the comments, or write a verdict. It splits the text you paste into narration beats, estimates timing, previews browser speech, and downloads the script and subtitles.
No. It is an original demo story shipped with the studio and labeled r/AmItheAsshole. The script and SRT on this page are what the studio downloads when that sample is loaded.
It previews a voice with your browser's text-to-speech and downloads a plain-text script and subtitle file, which have no watermark. It does not render the video, and the preview audio is not in the download.
Only the title. A reddit.com post URL fills in the subreddit and the title. The body has to be pasted, because Reddit blocks fetching it.
Subtitles (.srt) is the default download, one cue per beat in sentence mode. Subtitles (.vtt) is the same cues for YouTube and web players. The on-screen preview highlight is not written into either file.
No. The preview slider runs from 0.75x to 1.25x and changes browser playback only. Exported timestamps stay at 150 words per minute, with each beat at least 1.2 seconds.
